Cement is a widely used hydraulic cementitious material, and ordinary Portland cement is commonly used in aerated block production lines. In the production of aerated blocks, cement does not require special treatment and can be directly stored in the cement silo.
Product Features:
1. Cement silos are usually used as supporting products for concrete mixing plants (batching and pouring buildings).
2. The cement silo is suitable for storing bulk cement and dry fly ash, and has the characteristics of rain resistance, moisture resistance, and easy use; There are generally specifications such as 50t, 100t, 200t, etc. It can also be made according to the size requested by the user.
3. Cement silos are generally cylindrical support structures, with dust removal equipment at the upper part to prevent dust leakage, and arch breaking devices at the lower part to prevent powder agglomeration and ensure smooth discharge. They are also equipped with level sensing devices to monitor the usage of materials in the silo at any time.
4. Cement silos generally use bulk cement transport vehicles to deliver powder gas into the silo; According to the different structures of cement silos, there are generally two ways of unloading: one is to connect the lower part with a screw conveyor and use the screw conveyor to feed the powder into the powder measurement, and the other is to use pneumatic conveying (for cement silos with special structures).
Common faults and troubleshooting methods of cement silo
During the storage and unloading process of cement silos, common faults mainly focus on poor unloading, abnormal material level detection, structural problems of the silo body, and dust removal system failures. The specific faults and troubleshooting methods are as follows:
Poor unloading (most common)
Fault manifestations: blockage of the discharge port at the bottom of the warehouse, slow discharge speed, and inability to discharge material clumps.
Common reasons:
1. Cement becomes damp and clumps, adhering to the warehouse wall or discharge port.
2. The angle of the discharge chute is too small, resulting in high material flow resistance.
3. Failure of the bottom fluidization device in the warehouse (such as blockage of the breathable cloth or malfunction of the fan).
Exclusion method:
1.Small scale clumping can be loosened by tapping the warehouse wall or using a warehouse wall vibrator; When the agglomeration is severe, the machine needs to be stopped and cleaned through the manhole.
2. Adjust the angle of the chute to a reasonable range (usually not less than 60 °), or lay wear-resistant and smooth lining plates (such as polyethylene sheets) on the inner wall of the chute.
3. Check if the fluidized bed fan is working properly, clean the cement residue on the breathable cloth, and replace the breathable cloth if necessary.
Inaccurate or ineffective level gauge detection
-Fault manifestations:
Material level display does not match reality, no signal output, frequent false alarms.-Common reasons:
1. The level gauge probe is covered or clumped with cement dust (such as radar, ultrasonic level gauge).
2. The blades of mechanical level gauges (such as rotary gauges) are stuck or damaged.
3. Loose wiring of the level gauge, power failure, or damage to the instrument itself.
-Exclusion method:
1. Clean the dust and clumps on the surface of the probe after power failure, and regularly maintain and clean the probe.
2. Check if the anti rotation blades are deformed or stuck, and replace damaged blades or motors.
3. Check if the wiring terminals are secure, test if the power supply voltage is normal, and replace the instrument with a new one if it is damaged.
Wear or cracking of the warehouse wall
Fault manifestation: Local thinning and cracking of the warehouse wall, and in severe cases, cement leakage.
Common reasons:
1. Long term exposure to material impact (such as material erosion on the warehouse wall during feeding).
2. There are defects in the welding joints of the warehouse body, which crack after long-term stress.
3. Under low temperature conditions, the material of the warehouse body becomes brittle, or thermal expansion and contraction lead to stress concentration.
Exclusion method:
1. Weld and reinforce the lightly worn parts, and if the wear is severe, cut and replace the damaged warehouse wall panels.
2. Check the welding joints, re polish and weld the cracked areas, and perform non-destructive testing if necessary.
3. Keep the warehouse body insulated in a low-temperature environment to avoid drastic temperature changes, and install wear-resistant lining plates in the material impact area.
Dust removal system malfunction
-Fault manifestations: Dust overflow from the top of the warehouse, insufficient suction of the dust collector, and clogged filter bags.
-Common reasons:
1. The dust removal fan malfunctions or reverses, resulting in a decrease in exhaust capacity.
2. The filter bag of the dust collector is clogged, damaged or aged, resulting in a decrease in filtration efficiency.
3. Failure of pulse dust cleaning device (such as solenoid valve failure, insufficient compressed air pressure).
-Exclusion method:
1. Check if the fan motor is normal, adjust the fan direction, repair or replace the faulty fan.
2. Clean clogged filter bags, replace damaged or aged filter bags, and regularly maintain filter bags.
3. Check if the pulse solenoid valve is working properly, replenish compressed air to the specified pressure (usually 0.5-0.7MPa), and replace the faulty solenoid valve.
