What Is A Cutting Machine?

In the machining process, common methods for cutting sheet metal include manual cutting, semi-automatic cutting machines, and CNC cutting machines. Manual cutting is flexible and convenient, but it also results in poor cutting quality, large dimensional errors, significant material waste, and a high workload for subsequent processing. Furthermore, the working conditions are harsh, resulting in low production efficiency. Among semi-automatic cutting machines, contour cutting machines offer better workpiece quality, but because they use cutting dies, they are not suitable for cutting single pieces, small batches, or large workpieces. While other types of semi-automatic cutting machines reduce labor intensity, their functions are simple and only suitable for cutting parts with relatively regular shapes. Compared to manual and semi-automatic cutting methods, CNC cutting significantly improves sheet metal cutting efficiency and quality, while reducing operator workload.

1. Automatic feeding, clamping, and sawing, all performed in a repetitive cycle, controlled by a programmable PLC program, offer high cutting precision, minimal vibration, and low noise. Simple operation and high efficiency make them suitable for high-volume, long-term sawing.

2. The floating feed system protects the workpiece surface, allowing for a single feed stroke of up to 650mm and three consecutive feeds, making it particularly suitable for sawing short stock.
3. The cooling circulation system ensures a smooth, accurate, and burr-free cut surface, extending the life of the saw blade.
