For example, the various modular units currently used, such as positioning clamping seats, positioning clamping supports, and precision vises, have comprehensive functions of positioning, clamping, and adjustment. They can be used alone or assembled together. T-shaped foundations and square boxes can be assembled into fixtures that can clamp multiple identical or different workpieces at a time. The use of such fixtures can reduce the downtime of machine tools and maximize the high efficiency of CNC and machining center machines.
(2) Integration of special fixtures and single-mode fixtures: The multifunctionalization of modern processing equipment makes the process highly centralized and the workpiece can be positioned and clamped once to complete multiple processing steps. This requires a universal and reusable combined adjustable fixture system. It is composed of a series of unified and standardized components and parts. These components and parts are assembled into various forms, structures, and reusable fixtures for single-piece or small and medium-sized batch production. This fixture system retains the advantages of modular fixtures, yet offers the ease and reliability of assembly found in dedicated fixtures. To facilitate the connection between the fixture and the machine tool, the fixture base features standardized positioning and connection points, enabling the integration and modularization of dedicated and modular fixtures to meet the needs of modern processing equipment.
