Single-Mold Fixture Operation Procedures

A fixture, also known as a jig (qiǎ jǜ), is a device used in the manufacturing process to secure a workpiece in the correct position for construction or inspection. Broadly speaking, any device used to quickly, conveniently, and safely secure a workpiece during any process step can be called a fixture.

A fixture typically consists of a positioning element (to determine the correct position of the workpiece in the fixture), a clamping device, a tool guide (to determine the relative position of the tool and workpiece or guide the tool's direction), an indexing device (to enable the workpiece to be processed in multiple locations during a single setup; there are two types: rotary indexing devices and linear indexing devices), connecting elements, and a fixture base (the fixture base).

(1) Assemble the two pieces of the sequence 4 engine liner to the sequence 1 strut according to the "Strut Welding Assembly" diagram, and place it on the clamping body. Use the stop pin and baffle to position the sequence 1 strut, and clamp the sequence 1 strut with the screw clamp; at the same time, use the latch to position the two pieces of the sequence 4 engine liner, and clamp them with the quick-release screw clamp;
(2) After spot welding, loosen the quick-release screw clamp, pull out the latch, and remove it for welding;
(3) Place the weldment on the clamping body again, use the stop pin and baffle to position the weldment, and clamp the weldment with the screw clamp; then tighten the nut The assembly of M6 and the speaker support is placed on the weldment and is positioned and clamped by the screw clamping mechanism using the conical pin on the screw clamping mechanism and the groove on the pressure plate of the screw clamping mechanism; (4) The assembly of the nut M6 and the speaker support is welded to the support rod on three sides, and then all the screw clamps are loosened. The pressure plate of the screw clamping mechanism that clamps the assembly of the nut M6 and the speaker support is spring-loaded, and the positioning conical pin on it is then separated from the weldment. The pressure plate is then pushed out to separate one end from the screw clamping mechanism stud, and the pressure plate is rotated to one side of the weldment, and then the weldment is removed.
