Cement Silo Operation Procedure

1. When the bulk silo is in operation, it must be erected using a dedicated crane and placed on a prefabricated concrete foundation. The verticality of the silo must be checked, and its bottom must be securely welded to the embedded foundation components.
2. After the silo is secured, a bulk cement truck delivers cement to the construction site. The truck's delivery pipeline is then connected to the cement silo's (cement tank's) feed pipeline. The gas pressure from the truck transfers the cement from the tank into the silo.
3. While transporting cement into the silo, the operator must continuously press the dust collector's vibration motor button to shake off any cement clinging to the dust collector bags to prevent bag clogging and a silo explosion.
4. If the bags become clogged, the silo's internal pressure exceeds the safety valve's safety level, which opens to release pressure and prevent a silo explosion.
5. The high and low material levels indicate whether the silo is full or low. 6. When discharging cement, first open the manual discharge valve at the bottom of the cone and then convey the cement through the cement conveying device (screw conveyor). If any arching occurs during discharging, immediately press the button on the solenoid valve of the arch-breaking device to release air and eliminate the arching, allowing for smooth cement delivery.
7. If the cement conveying device (screw conveyor) malfunctions, first close the manual discharge valve at the bottom of the cone to prevent cement from spilling and wasting.
