When a jaw crusher is operating, the movable jaw plate periodically reciprocates against the fixed jaw plate, moving closer and further apart. When the jaw plates move closer, the material is crushed by compression, splitting, and impact between the two jaw plates. When the jaw plates move apart, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge port by gravity.
In the process of breaking large rocks into smaller pieces, the first crusher is usually the "primary" crusher. The jaw crusher is the oldest and most robust crusher. When feeding a jaw crusher, material is poured from the top inlet into the crushing chamber containing the jaw teeth. The jaw teeth exert tremendous force, pushing the material against the chamber walls, breaking it into smaller pieces. The jaw teeth are supported by an eccentric shaft that runs through the jaw frame. This eccentric motion is typically generated by a flywheel fixed to each end of the shaft. Spherical roller bearings are often used for the flywheel and eccentric support bearings, which must withstand significant shock loads, abrasive wastewater, and high temperatures.

5. The scrap particle size is small, only 2-15 mm, effectively solving the problem of large limestone particle size that often blocked the chute and even affected the mill output.
